The cornerstone of Job Ready PA is the creation of Industry Partnerships. These partnerships were designed to overcome longstanding employer frustration with the workforce and education systems, bringing industry to the table in a collaborative effort to help boost the competitiveness of their individual businesses, as well as Pennsylvania’s economy as a whole.

Industry Partnerships bring together multiple employers in the same industry cluster – in some cases with worker representatives – to identify and address common workforce needs. The concept of these partnerships is to aggregate employer demand on an industry-wide level, leading to more cost-effective training.
